Melissa has been into Lolita fashion for about a year. She says she likes it because it’s a way of being feminine “without having your bum and breasts hanging out all over the place.” She also loves all the little details that are put into making a piece, such as the lace, pintucks, and prints. She’s wearing an Innocent World skirt, her bag (pictured below) is Marc Jacobs, and her hat is from The Village Hat Shop. As for interests, she’s into karate (so don’t mess with her!), reading, painting, photography, architecture, musicals, and dance. Her favourite bands are Carolina Liar, Armor For Sleep, and Brand New.
